DEVILS BEAT GLENBARD WEST 15-3!!

Hinsdale erupted for 15 runs in 6 innings including 5 homeruns to beat the Hilltoppers in game 1 of the series. 

After a scoreless 1^st inning, Matt Sliter led off the 2^nd with a single. Chris Bob launched a 2 run shot over the fence to put Central up 2-0. Pat Foley drew a walk and Jack Hellwig homered for 4-0 lead. Glenbard scored once in the 3^rd on 3 singles.

In the 4^th, Jacques Camalick and Cooper Travis singled and scored on a 3 run homer by Hellwig, his second of the day. Mac Burridge singled and Matt Anderson added an RBI double. Alex Tufano homered to give Central a 10-1 lead. Sliter also doubled in the inning.

After a scoreless 5^th, Burridge reached on an error in the 6^th. Anderson and Tufano walked and Bobo drove in 2 with a single. Foley followed with a 3 run homer and Camalick singled in the inning. Glenbard added a 2-run shot in the 6^th to make the final 15-3.

Drew Kornak pitched a complete game allowing 3 runs on 5 hits with 2 walks and 4 punch outs.

Besides being a great day for home runs, the defense was outstanding, especially centerfielder Mac Burridge who made a great catch at the fence.
