CENTRAL SHUTS OUT DGN!!

It was a sunny but cold day as the Red Devils traveled to Downers Grove to face the Trojans for a conference show down.  Will Pahos pitched a complete game shut out allowing only 4 hits with 1 walk and 4 strike outs on the day.

Central scored 2 in the 3^rd and 1 in the 4^th on an RBI single from Mac Burridge.  Pahos fielded his position in the bottom of the inning by turning a nice double play.

Central put 6 on the board in the 6^th beginning with a walk from Pat Foley, single by Jack Hellwig and 2 RBI double by Matt Anderson.  Alex Tufano added a 2 RBI double and  Matt Sliter and Peter Marquardt walked to load up the bases.  John Ellis delivered a 2 RBI single for the 6^th runs of the inning and put Central ahead by 9.  Both teams were scoreless in the 7^th and it was a nice conference win for Hinsdale.
