Kiyosaki K’s 9 as Devils Sweep Glenbard West 4-2 !!

Senior David Kiyosaki pitched a dominating complete game against the Hilltoppers allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits with 1 walk, 1 hit batter and 9 punch-outs to complete the sweep.

Glenbard picked up a run in the top of the 1^st on a single, stolen base and an RBI double.  The Red Devils responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning as Connor Marrero (2 for 3) singled, Rob Bellusci drew a walk and Stevo Kraynak had a bunt single.  With the bases loaded, Josh Camalick (3 for 3) singled scoring Marrero.  Charlie Herr drew a walk to score Bellusci, but the rest were left stranded.  The second inning was scoreless for both teams.  Glenbard West was held soreless in the 3^rd helped out by a nice diving catch in left field by Marrero.   Central picked up 2 in the bottom of the 3^rd when Camalick doubled and Ryan Connelly brought him home with an RBI single.  Pinch runner John Ellis stole 2^nd, 3^rd, and scored on an errant throw to give Hinsdale a 4-1 lead.  Marrero singled in the 4^th and Camalick in the 5^th but both were left stranded.  Glenbard West scored 1 in the 6^th but the Red Devils held on for the victory and the sweep!
