York Complete Sweep Of Red Devils

York started the game where they left off on Saturday in game 2.  Hitting the ball hard.  Their first 4 hitters recorded singles off of the pitching of Hinsdale’s starter, John Spacapan and York took a 3-0 lead.  Spacapan steadied himself after the shaky start however with little support from his defence, York’s lead was doubled in the second inning.

In response, Hinsdale had little to offer in the way of offence and only got their first hits in the fourth inning.  That pretty much summed up the Devils’ afternoon with the bat.  Meantime, Spacapan started to find his rhythm pitching faultlessly through the next 4 innings.

In inning 7 Hinsdale replaced Spacapan with Alex Hodakowski.  York added 4 more runs to their total to complete the rout.
