Red Devils Tame Panthers in Final game of Series

In the long awaited final game of  the series Hinsdale, with a much changed line up, comfortably beat the Proviso West Panthers. Alex Hodakowski pitched well for Hinsdale but it was Proviso who took the lead in the second with some nice hitting. The Red Devils, after having gone two down in the top of the third, stormed back into the game with a 4 runs in the bottom half of that inning. Dan Letizia, fresh off the DL, broke up the no hitter and Jared Kreger followed up with a walk. The a John Olson double knocked them both in .Olson and Jimmy Blodgett went on to score to make the game 4-2 in Hinsdale's favor.

The rest of the game was fairly uneventful with Hinsdale extending their lead on a couple of hits and an error. Overall, Hinsdale played well within themselves to secure the win.
