Red Devils Fall Short!

In the first game of a doubleheader, the Red Devils fell short.  The Red Devils starting the scoring in the second inning as Luke Rafferty single, Tommy Delzenero walked and Jack Fuller singled scoring Rafferty.  In the third, Trevor Jay singled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jay Richards.  During the play, Jay sprained his ankle coming home. The Red Devil team will miss Trevor Jay at 2nd base and his bat as he recovers and we wish him well and a quick return.

In the fifth inning, manufactured a run on a couple of walks to Sam Lucente and Michael Fikaris and some sloppy play by DGN as Lucente scored.  The last run came in the Sixth as Rafferty got on an error, Delzenero singled and then Rafferty scored as Fuller hit into a fielder's choice play.  Other hits for the Red Devils came from Tom Bieber, Matt Timmermann and Garrett Knecht.
