Kasey Ourada throws 5 innings with 8 K’s as Brennan and Wroble go 2 for 3 each with 2 RBI’s

The Devils came to play!  #43 Kasey Ourada showed dominance in the first inning as he struck out the side.  This exciting start to the game lead Hinsdale’s offence to score 3 runs in the first.  #22 Carl Madej followed by #20 Brett Suchy got on base.  #35 Jack Dinardo brought in the first run, #6 Rich Brennan brought in the second run and #36 Jason McClain brought in the third run.  Montini scored a run in the second, then in the third it looked as though Kasey was running into trouble as bases were loaded.  Montini scored one run then Kasey showed his poise and struck out the next three batters.  Dinardo lead of the third inning for the Devil’s and walked on.  Jack advanced to second on a past ball, this put him into scoring position.  Brennan came to bat next and drove in his second run of the day.  The Devil’s defense kept Montini quiet in the fourth and fifth inning.  In the fifth inning Brennan hit his way on to give the Devil’s another scoring opportunity.  #17 Eric Wroble did not disappoint as he rocketed one over the fence to bring the score to 6 – 2 in favor of the devils. #32 Marc Weimer came into pitch in the sixth inning, he gave up two hits and two walks as Montini ended up scoring only one run, and it was to be their last of the day.  In the Seventh Inning double zero #00 Matt Murry came in after the first batter and closed the door on Montini to give Hinsdale Central their first victory.  With the Devil’s capitalizing with men on base, solid defense, and an excellent pitching staff the Devils should be able to win many more games.
