Red Devils Surge In 4th Inning To Secure Victory
Over Oak Park Huskies!

In the first game of the double header, Oak Park jumped on the board early with a 2 run homer in the top of the 1st.  Hinsdale answered with 1 as Richie Zajeski started off the bottom of the 1st inning with a double.  Josh Camalick added an RBI double to center field to score Zajeski.  Sean O’Grady also singled in the 1st.  Oak Park scored 1 in the 2nd and 3rd inning to go ahead 4-1.  Central cut the lead to 4-2 in the 3rd when Zajeski singled, stole 2nd and advanced to 3rd on an overthrow.  Connor Marrero laid down an RBI sac bunt to score Zajeski.  The Red Devils took command in the 4th inning as Camalick worked the pitcher for a 10 pitch at bat and drew a walk.  O’Grady hit an RBI double down the left field line to score Camalick.  Charlie Herr reached 1st base, Ryan Connelly walked and O’Grady scored on a passed ball.  Zajeski walked to load the bases for Marrero who belted a 3 run double down the left side to score Herr, Connelly and Zajeski and give Central a 7-3 lead.  The Red Devils held OPRF scoreless in the 5th, highlighted by a double play by Garrett Kawa at 2nd base to Herr at 1st

Camalick led off the bottom of the 5th with a double to right center field.  Herr belted an RBI double to center to bring Camalick home.  David Kiyosaki hit a loop shot into right field for a single and Mike Rogowski singled to score Herr for a 9-4 lead.  Both teams failed to score in the 6th and the Huskies threatened a comeback in the 7th scoring 3 runs and closing the gap to 9-7.  The game ended on a strike-em out throw em out double play by pitcher Charlie Herr and catcher Ryan Connelly. 

David Kiyosaki pitched 6 innings allowing 4 runs on 3 hits, 7 walks and 4 strike-outs.  Scott Anderko allowed 3 hits and 3 runs and Charlie Herr closed out the game throwing 1 inning with a walk and 2 strike-outs.
