Pitching, Hitting and Defense Combine For Shutout!

Richie Zajeski led off the game with a single, advanced to 2^nd on a wild pitch, stole 3rd and scored on an RBI single by Scottie Zender. Mike Parker started off the 2nd  inning with a 1 out walk and Marrero reached base on an error.  Robbie Bellusci laced a double to left-center field scoring a pair followed by Zajeski’s RBI single to score Bellusci.  David Kiyosaki singled and scored on a double by Zender, Ryan Connelly singled to drive in Zender and Josh Camalick added a single.  Scottie Zender pitched the first 2 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 walk and 3 strike-outs. David Kiyosaki pitched the third and fourth innings allowing 1 walk while striking out 5.  Central added 1 run in the fourth and 1 in the 6^th started off by Connelly who doubled, advanced to 3^rd on a groundout by Tyler Swade, and scored on a groundout by Camalick.  In the bottom of the 6^th inning, shortstop Josh Camalick made an over the shoulder basket catch in short center field to help preserve the shutout.  In the 7^th inning, Bellusci reached base and scored on a double by Kiyosaki who eventually scored.  Scott Anderko pitched the final three innings allowing 3 hits, 1 walk and striking out 2.  The Red Devils played great defense to hold Willowbrook scoreless highlighted by several great catches, stellar pitching and clutch hitting.
