Central Blanks Addison Trail 10-0

Five Red Devil pitchers combined for an inning apiece in the 5 inning shutout.  David Kiyosaki {1K, 1 BB} Scott Anderko {1 hit, 1K}  Scottie Zender {1 hit}  Charlie Herr {1K}  and Mike Parker {2K’s} all did a great job in keeping the Addison Trail hitters in check allowing only 2 hits on the day. 

Richie Zajeski {3 for 4} got the Red Devils on the board in the first for a 1-0 lead.  In the 2^nd, Mike Rogowski reached base, stole 2^nd and scored on an RBI single by Zajeski.  Sean O’Grady singled, stole 2^nd and Zajeski scored on the overthrow.  Josh Camalick reached base on a hard-hit grounder to 3^rd to score O’Grady and bring the score to 4-0 at the end of 2 innings.  Rob Bellusci started off the 3^rd with a single and Kiyosaki walked.  Garrett Kawa reached base on a hard hit ground ball allowing Bellusci to score.  Zajeski blasted a 2-run double to center field scoring Kiyosaki and Kawa to give the Devils a 7-0 lead.  The 4^th inning featured a home run by Zender to left center field to extend Central’s lead to 8-0.  In the 5^th inning, Herr singled, stole 2^nd and scored on an RBI single by Zajeski. O’Grady singled and the game ended when Brendan Sullivan hit an RBI grounder to score Zajeski and end the game at 10-0.
