Red Devil frosh split with Willowbrook B’s win 6-1 lead by strong pitching. A’s lose 7-6 in a sloppy game.
What is it about Willowbrook? Can’t we play them when the temp is above 42 degrees?
Nick Tyson (4 innings) and Tim Sheehan combined to hold the Willowbrook B team to one run today at Willowbrook. Chris O’Hare drove in two runs, as did Jimmy Kallas. Kolby Ourada contributed a couple of singles, and Charlie Hetke also bunted for single.
In the A game at Hinsdale, seven errors, walks and only three hits lead to a 7-6 loss. Offensively Mike Rodgers hit a bases loaded 2 RBI single in the bottom of the sixth, but the rally stalled when the Willowbrook pitcher struck out three with the bases loaded. Alex Tufano and Stevo Kraynak each had a single for the other two Hinsdale hits.
