Red Devils Herd Mustangs into the Sunset

The Red Devil frosh prevailed over Morton today 11-3 on a windy field in Berwyn, using seven different pitchers in the victory.  Kolby Ourada, Will Pahos, Alex Kirk, Jack Hellwig, Drew Kornak, Peter Marquardt and Mike Rogers each pitched one inning and held the Mustangs to three runs on six hits.

At the plate Hellwig was one for two with a bases loaded 2 RBI double in the second to start the scoring.  Kirk went 3–3. Jimmy Kallas was 2-3 with a double and an RBI.  Mac Burridge, Alex Tufano and Charlie Hetke each collected a hit and an RBI.  Victor Twardowski, Marquardt and Zach Alleman each contributed with a hit.

In the field Cooper Travis turned a 6-3 double play to end a threat in the sixth.
