The Bats are Back

In their first home game of the year, the freshmen Red Devils’ bats came alive to the tune of eight runs in the third and another two in the fifth for a 10-0 victory over the Montini Broncos.

The offense was lead by Jack Hellwig (2 doubles and 3 RBI) and Stevo Kraynak (3 singles and 2 RBI).  Alex Tufano had a 2 RBI ground rule triple (teacher’s parking lot) in the 8 run third, when the Red Devils brought 13 batters to the plate.  Zach Studnicka, Mac Burridge, Al Kirk and Charlie Hetke each contributed a single and an RBI in the game.

Will Pahos started and pitched three scoreless innings, striking out five.  Kraynak pitched two innings of one hit ball.
