Rogers Slam Lifts Red Devils Over Hilltoppers
The Red Devil frosh jumped on the Glenbard West Hilltoppers when Mike Rogers hit a GRAND SLAM over the left field fence in the top of the first inning and the never looked back Saturday in Glen Ellyn. Rogers was 2 for 3 with 6 RBI in the game. Three other players had a multiple hit game, including Mac Burridge (3-3, 1 RBI), Alex Tufano (2-2, 1 RBI) and Mike Discipio (3-3). Stevo Kraynak, Jason Rafferty and Victor Twardowski each added RBI singles. Will Pahos pitched all five innings, striking out five, walking one and allowing three hits.
In the second game Kolby Ourada started and got all but the last out. Rafferty was called in to close the game out in the seventh as the frosh shut out Glenbard in the second game too.
