June 4, 2007 -- Kim and Terri Suchy, 2007 Red Devils Baseball Club Presidents | Now with the 2007 season officially behind us, I wanted to thank the parents AND players for making our tenure as Co-Presidents a fun and memorable one. Without everyone’s support, the responsibilities Terri and I endured would have been onerous and taxing but you all managed to help in some way and for that, we thank you.
Our Frosh and Sophomore teams have had great success placing first and second respectively in the WSC. Our Juniors are now seasoned vets on the field and coupled with a sound core of underclassmen this should set the stage for a productive 2008. That being said, we believe the Devils will recapture their winning ways for several years to come.
We bid farewell to our Seniors who have probably witnessed their first losing season ever in organized ball, yet they leave as winners. Not only were they fortunate enough to be part of Hinsdale Central’s only Super-Sectional team, they leave understanding the value of giving back to their community. As parents, we know that’s what really matters in the long run and trust we have instilled a sense of community in these young men.
As much as I look forward to the continued success of the Red Devil baseball program, I look forward to the success of our Seniors in college and beyond. You never know, some of us may work for these guys some day. Not only are they sharp, but they have a little character; character derived from you as parents and from the guys they watched and played with in prior years. If ’07 was a character building year then we all have grown as a result.
We have made many new friendships as your Presidents. Although our days are over as Devils and we move on to praise new mascots, let’s not be strangers. Thanks everyone, we had a great time!

April 18, 2007 -- Idene Serushan (Super Senior Fan) | What a great job the team has done thus for in the season. Although it has been a very cold spring, we senior fans will always be there to support the Red Devil Baseball Program. Good Luck The Rest of The Season!!!

The photo of the field is gorgeous. The beautiful lilacs stand out in the background against the green grass. The only problem is that the cicadas are not in the picture. Maybe you could just use a Sharpie and fill them in? How about a new item in the Devil Diner? Anyone care for a Batter fried cicada?
