Second Loss one to forget
LT’s bats came alive in the second game with a lopsided 14 – 2 loss which only lasted 5 innings.
The offensive highlights of the game for the Red Devils came in the 4th and 5th innings. In the 4th, Brett Morse reached 2nd on an error by the shortstop who over threw 1st base. Colin Cimala followed with a single to right field scoring Morse. In the 5th inning Drew Bailey lead off with a double over the center fielder’s head and then moved to 3rd on a passed ball. Mark Noth walked and with Morse at the plate Bailey scored on a wild pitch closing out the Red Devils’ scoring with 2 runs. |
