Fifth-ranked Red Devils get best of Warriors;
Bailey gets the win

The Warriors held a brief lead over the fifth-ranked Red Devils for a brief inning, but the ever resilient offense and the pitching of Drew Bailey held on for a 5 – 3 victory.  Kasey Ourada pitched 5 strong innings, striking out 9, with one pitch that produced 3 runs. Bailey came in and pitched the last two innings striking out 3 for his first victory of the year, proving again the depth of the Red Devil pitching staff.

Offensively, scoring started in the 2nd inning.  Mark Noth singled, moved to 3rd on a single by Brett Morse and scored on a wild pitch.  In the 3rd inning, Tobi Adeyemi (2-3 single, HR) stepped to the plate with two outs and blasted a home run over the center field fence.  In the 4th inning Noth doubled and moved to 3rd on a sacrifice bunt by Morse and then scored on a wild pitch tying the score at 3 -3.  In the 6th inning it was the hot hitting Noth who struck again with a single.  Noth moved to 2nd when Morse reached base on an error. Noth then stole 3rd and when Morse stole 2nd, Noth came home to score on the throw to 2nd base. Alex Bellusci who also had a hot bat all game hit his 3rd single of the game scoring Morse to seal the win.
