Andrew Nicholas was in a zone, a groove, in focus and was just seeing the ball well, hitting for the proverbial cycle.  Kasey Ourada used Nicholas and the cushion provided by the offense, striking out 11 batters in the complete game, 12 – 6 victory which was Kasey’s 6th win of the season.  Nicholas’s journey started in the 1st with a triple and was followed by Brett Suchy who grounded out to the second baseman but scored Nicholas.  Mark Noth walked and was forced at 2nd when Colin Cimala hit to the pitcher who threw to 2^nd.  The 2^nd baseman over threw 1st as Cimala ended up at second base.  Brett Morse singled to score Cimala for a 2 – 0 lead.  

In the 2nd inning, Tobi Adeyemi started things off with a single and moved to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Sam Katz. Next, Drew Bailey drove a ball over the right fielder’s head for a double which scored Adeyemi.  Nicholas followed, and launched a home run over the 360 ft. mark in right centerfield with Bailey scoring in front of him.  Suchy hit a strong double followed by Noth who singled, scoring Suchy.  Cimala then joined in the hitting barrage and blasted a home run over the right centerfield fence with Noth scoring ahead of him. 

In the 3rd inning. with two out Nicholas walked, followed by Suchy who also coaxed a walk.  Noth then lashed a sharp single past the shortstop, scoring Nicholas.  Cimala reached base on an error by the 2nd baseman allowing Suchy to score.

In the 4th inning, Alex Bellusci doubled, then with two outs, Bailey singled moving Bellusci to 3rd. Nicholas then singled to score Bellusci . 

In the 7th inning Nicholas doubled to complete the hitting cycle and then scored on Noth’s single to right field to end the scoring and secure the 12 – 6 victory.
