Ourada & Offense Secure First Conference Win
Kasey Ourada threw a 1 hitter for 5 scoreless innings, striking out 7 batters and getting a tremendous offensive effort from the Red Devil lineup.
All contributed to the 15-0 offensive output which produced one run in the first, two runs in the second, an explosive 11 run fourth inning and one run in the fifth. Andrew Nicholas reached base four times at bat with an error by the third baseman, a triple, double and single, driving in 5 runs and scoring 3. Tobi Adeyemi came to the plate 4 times, with 2 singles, driving in 2 runs and scoring 1. Brett Suchy reached base on a walk and scored one run. The cleanup hitter Mark Noth reached base 4 times with a walk, error by the third baseman, double and a booming home run, collecting 2 RBI’s and scoring 2. Brett Morse reached base 2 out 3 times at the plate on a fielder’s choice and walk scoring one run. Colin Cimala singled, driving in 2 runs and scored once. Alex Bellusci reached base 2 out 4 times with singles scoring one run. Sam Katz had a single and a home run driving in 2 runs and scored 2 runs. Drew Bailey went 3 for 3 with 2 line drive singles and a bunt single, driving in 1 run and scored 3 runs. |
