Harrison Dahl pitched a no-hitter as the Sophomore Red Devils shut out the Montini Broncos 2-0 for their fifth straight victory.  Dahl (1-0) fell just two walks short of perfection as he faced only 22 batters over the 7 inning complete game.  Harrison had control of all of his pitches as he struck out eight Broncos in his inaugural pitching outing of the year.  The Red Devil defense provided solid backup with an errorless game in the field.

The offense provided the only run that they needed in the first inning.  Mike Imke (1-3, BB, 2SB) and Brock Piche walked to open the game.  After executing a double steal, Imke proceeded to score on a wild pitch.  Hinsdale added an insurance run in the fifth inning.  Jared White (1-2) led off with a bloop single to left.  Imke doubled but White was thrown out trying to score.  After stealing third, Imke raced home on a well placed squeeze bunt by Piche.

The Red Devils closed out the game in exciting fashion.  With one out, a runner on first base and the tying run at the plate, Hinsdale performed a perfect strike-‘em out throw-‘em out double play to end the game with Zach Leathers tagging out the base runner after receiving the throw from catcher Grant Slesser.

The Red Devils (5-2) resume play on Thursday at home versus Proviso East.
