Central Wins SlugFest over LT!
Lyons Township started the game off by scoring 2 in the first inning and Central responded by scoring 5 runs in the bottom half of the first. The score remained close with Central on top until the fifth inning when L.T, scored 5 times to take a 12-9 lead. The Red Devils made a great comeback in the final two innings to tie it up at 12 apiece after 7 innings of play. Both teams scored twice in the 8th inning. In the 9th inning, the table was set with bases loaded when David Kiyosaki smashed a line drive into center field to score the winning run for a Red Devil victory! Pitching duties were handled by Scottie Zender, Charlie Herr, John Duffy, Garrett Kawa and David Kiyosaki.
