Slow start doesn't stop Red Devils!
Hinsdale allowed 2 runs in the first inning, but held Leyden in check the rest of the game by only allowing 1 more run. Charlie Herr, Robbie Bellusci, and Garrett Kawa handled the pitching duties and did a terrific job. The Red Devils struck in the third inning by scoring 9 runs and added insurance runs in the next two innings to beat Leyden 13-3 in 5 innings of work. Connor Marrerro and Charlie Herr homered and drove in a whopping 7 runs combined! The Red Devils were solid defensively and Josh Camalick had 2 pick-offs at catcher. |
