Red Devils Capture Conference Title in 3-1 Victory
Hinsdale jumped out to an early lead in the first inning when Richie Zajeski walked and Jason McClain slammed a triple to right center field to drive him in for the first run of the day. Ryan Connelly hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score McClain for a two run lead. The Red Devils added one more run in the sixth inning when Charlie Herr drove in David Kiyosaki for the third run of the game. Jason McClain pitched 4 innings allowing only two hits and striking out two batters. Robbie Bellusci threw one inning holding Oak Park scoreless. Charlie Herr closed out the final two innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run with one strikeout. Connor Marrero legged out a triple and Josh Camalick added a single. With the win, the Red Devils have sole possession of the conference with a 15-3 record and a 27-6 overall record.
