McClain Pitches 6 Strong Innings for 8-1 Victory!
Jason McClain allowed only one run on three hits, and struck out six batters in six innings of work in the conference match-up against the Hilltoppers of Glenbard West. The Red Devils rallied for 5 runs in the second inning with key hits by a few players. Central added on 3 runs in the third and fourth inning to pull out to an 8-1 lead. Charlie Herr finished the game by allowing one hit and striking out one in the seventh to seal the deal on a very important conference win. Connor Marrero went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s and Robbie Bellusci went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. McClain, Josh Camalick and Garrett Kawa each added 1 RBI in the win. |
