Josh Camalick Goes Downtown
Everybody contributed this game but one of the highlights was when Camalick hit one out with a man on in the third inning. In the top of the first inning it looked like it was going to be a close game, Proviso made the Devils get two outs right away then gave up a double then got the third out. When Proviso came to bat Kiyosaki shut them down with three-up three-down striking out all three batters, that made a quick first inning. The top of the second, the Devils racked up 5 runs and were looking good, at the bottom David held tough and gave up 1 run and 2 hits. The flood gates now opened up and our offense led the way. There were a total of 13 hits with 2 ground-rule doubles to the fence by Connelly and Kawa. Kiyosaki had 5 more strikeouts making it 8 on the night. John Duffy finished the fifth inning holding Proviso to only one more run.
