Going, Going, Gone!!!
The Devils bats were on fire this game. 21 hits was a great achievement and three of those hits were home runs. The first one came in the first inning from Kiyosaki who jacked one out with a man on. In the third inning, Connelly manhandled the second homerun in the game to right field with two men on. Also in the third Herr singled, but it wasn’t till his second at bat that inning that he blasted one into the trees with two men on for the teams third dinger of the game. Everyone contributed today for the win as their bats came alive.
The start went to Zender who went three innings gave up 4 runs, 3 hits, 3 walks, and struck out 4 batters. Kawa came in to finish up what Zender started with 0 runs, 0 hits, 1 walk, and 1 K.
