The Bats Come Alive
What a home opener for the Red Devils! The team combined for a total of 4 walks, 12 singles, 4 doubles, 1 triple, and a homerun. In the beginning, with a disciplined at bat, Bellusci walked his way to first followed by a hit from Zajeski. Next at the dish was McCLain who hit the first team home run of the season. 4 more hits came that inning. The first inning set the pace for the rest of the game. It was nice to see the bats come alive. The Devils were aggressive at the plate and didn’t let up the whole game.
