Nick "Dr. K" Kurash blew away 10 York Dukes in 5 quick innings while allowing 2 hits in a complete game dominant shutout performance. 

The Devils scored one in the first when Connor Lind scored after walking, advancing on Dustin Reznicek’s ball to first, a flyout by Chad Bisnette and a long sac fly by Garrett Sosnovich. 

The Devils took advantage of 4 walks and the speed of Colin Cook in the third to score 5.  Cook singled, stole second and scored on Rez’s double walks to Biz, Sos and Brett Morse scored another which brought Dan Portschy to the plate who ripped a double to right center that cleaned the bases.  

As Kurash continued to cruise the Devils added three more when Lind and Biz scored on Morse’s mammoth blast onto 57th street.  The fans wanted to watch more but Mark Noth placed another Marker on the scoreboard with a walk off slaughter home run. 

The Devils scored 37 runs in 3 slaughter shortened games in preparation for the stretch drive.
