The Freshman Red Devil ‘B’ team could not overcome some early OPRF heavy hitting and their own defensive letdowns in a 13-7 loss in Hinsdale.  The Devils took an early 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first inning.  Troy Lang (1-3, BB) started the rally with a leadoff walk. After a strikeout, Aaron Gay (2-4, 2 RBI) doubled into the right field gap.  Mike O’Reilly (2-3, 3 RBI) followed with a sharp single through the middle to drive in Lang and Gay. 

OPRF put the game out of reach by scoring five runs in the 2nd inning and four in the third.  Relief pitchers Harrison Dahl, Grant Slesser and Will Edwards combined to limit the Huskies to three runs over the last four innings. 

Matt Meyer lead the defense with a four assist, two putout performance at shortstop.
