The Freshman Red Devils swept a double header from Addison Trail winning the first game 10-0 in five innings and taking the second game 10-5.
The first game was the “Zach Leathers Show” as he threw a two hit shutout while going 3 for 4 at the late with two doubles and two RBI. Leathers walked only one while striking out 9.
Aside from Leathers, Central received offensive contributions from centerfielder Mike Imke (2 for 3); second baseman Brock Piche (2 for 4), first baseman Richie Brennan (2 for 3, 2 RBI), shortstop Billy Auriemma (1 for 2, double and 2 RBI) and leftfielder Jared White (1 for 2, RBI).
The Red Devils completed the sweep with solid pitching from Brennan (3 innings), Will Edwards (2 innings) and Harrison Dahl (2 innings). Catcher Tim Kanter went 4 for 4 to lead the offense.
